i am suffering with mouth ulcer for 10 days and i am taking flupan-500 (flucloxacillin capsules bp) for 5 days .can this medicine reduce number of platelate on my body?. before a year viral infection reduced my plate down to 3000 and i was sent to bharatpur medical collage for treatment .can plate late patients take this medicine?
Its less likely the medicine you mentioned decrease the platelets. And it is not true that your platelets was down to 3000. Normal platelets level is 1.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs! No intervention or transfusion is required till the level of platelets go below 50000. So dont worry much! If it has been low repeat the test after some time!
