my wife had taken contraceptive econ tablet 8 months ago. Now after 8 months she is having irregular menstraul cycle & cramps. What shall we do?

I have got spotting on 14th days of my period, I still get the few drops of blood though it's 10th day. I don't have any pain or cramps just few drops of blood. Is it normal?
