I am suffering from lower back pain which radiates from lower back along buttock and hips to ankle on right leg. It's been a year. I feel numbness, tingling or muscle weakness in the right leg. I can barely walk for even 2 minutes. Where should I consult? to the phisyotherapist or orthopedic doctor? What should I do? age- 23

Dr. Saurav Dahal

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, 10 Years of practice

Your symptoms resemble that of disc prolapse in the Lumbar vertebrae region. You need to be assessed clinically by an orthopedic surgeon and then diagnosis will be reached after relevant investigations.
