My mother is having pain on the right side of the abdomen during mensuration since 3-4 years ago. We have done USG 2-3 times but it only shows little inflammation of the uterus but no other abnormalities. We have done a CT-scan and doctors say it shows normal. We have also done a pamp smear test which was negative. The pain lasts for 2-3 days. Pain starts at beginning of the period. As she says pain get intense before bleeding occurs and when blood comes out, the pain goes on decreasing. The face also swells to some extents after mensuration. She been using diclofenac to control pain. I am so worried that this pain killer may have side effect on long term use. Could you please suggest what should we do now?  (My mother is 44 years old)
